A leading organisation in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Data and Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Technology Services team. This role offers you the opportunity to play a pivotal part in supporting major transformation initiatives, including the CTS Uplift Program, by consolidating data from diverse sources and delivering robust analytical solutions through the Microsoft data platform. - Design and develop ELT pipelines that ingest data from multiple structured and unstructured sources, consolidating information into conformed data models for seamless integration.
- Build and maintain end-of-day batch processing solutions as well as snapshot mechanisms to support comprehensive reporting, reconciliation, and operational data requirements.
- Develop domain-specific and analytical data models using SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric to enable business intelligence capabilities and management reporting.
- Integrate data from enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, and other platforms, creating unified models that bring together disparate sources for consistent analysis.




- Support data migration activities by ensuring integrity and quality are maintained throughout all transition processes, minimising risk during consolidation.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models that translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.
- Write advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations to deliver accurate analytics solutions that are both performant and maintainable.

Your proven track record as a Senior Data and Business Intelligence Engineer means you bring deep expertise in Microsoft technology environments particularly SQL Server and advanced skills in Power BI development. You have demonstrated success designing optimised queries as well as database objects for efficient ELT workflows.
