Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Boilermaker to join a growing operation based in Blackwater. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the repair, fabrication and maintenance of heavy industrial components while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
The position will involve interpreting technical drawings, performing welding and fabrication duties, operating workshop equipment, assembling and repairing components, conducting inspections, and carrying out general workshop maintenance activities. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team while maintaining a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
- Demonstrated experience in welding and fabrication
- Experience with Submerged Arc Welding (highly regarded)
- Current Forklift Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Positive attitude with the ability to work autonomously
