The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering FP&A; insights that support and enhance business performance.

The position acts as a true strategic partner to operational teams, providing analysis, guidance, and support to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Financial planning and forecasting: Lead the preparation and timely submission of mid-month estimates, rolling sales forecasts, annual budgets, full-year forecasts, five-year plans, capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and long-term financial models.
- Management reporting and performance analysis: Analyse sales and operational performance across revenue, volume, price, product mix and divisional head office costs, highlighting trends, variances, risks and opportunities.
- Commercial business partnering: Work with teams across the business to provide financial insights, scenario analysis and recommendations that support informed decision-making and improved business performance.
- Reporting improvement and standardisation: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, enhance visibility of key performance indicators and standardise financial practices across sites.
- Financial modelling and strategic support: Develop financial models and scenarios to assess business opportunities,



evaluate potential outcomes and support strategic and operational planning.
- Financial governance and controls: Maintain financial governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, reporting requirements and financial control standards.

Your Skills & Experience

- CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Confident, proactive and influential, with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Proven experience with full ownership of P&L;, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced financial planning and modelling skills, with solid proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, partnering with senior leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa).
