Frontline HR South Australia is seeking motivated 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentices looking to continue their apprenticeship and develop their skills within the HVAC industry.

We have opportunities across commercial, residential and industrial sectors throughout Adelaide, offering exposure to a wide range of projects, valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to further develop your skills in refrigeration and air conditioning.

As a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO), we provide opportunities to work with a variety of host employers throughout your apprenticeship. This allows you to gain broad industry experience, develop your technical skills and get the most out of your apprenticeship. You will work full-time while completing your Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

Responsibilities will vary between host employers, but can include:

- Assisting with the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Installing and maintaining split systems, ducted air conditioning and other HVAC equipment
- Assisting with diagnosing faults, troubleshooting and carrying out repairs
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Installing refrigerant pipework, ductwork and associated components under appropriate supervision
- Assisting with system commissioning and performance testing
- Reading technical drawings, plans and equipment specifications
- Using hand and power tools safely




- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Able to show initiative and work independently when appropriate

- Willing to ask questions, learn and take direction

- Reliable, punctual and committed to completing their apprenticeship

- Passionate about developing a career in refrigeration and air conditioning

Requirements:

- Currently undertaking a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to undertake a police check and/or medical assessment if required
- Ability to obtain Defence clearances where required for specific projects
