The Role:
Working alongside highly skilled electricians, supervisors and project teams, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across a range of major projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and terminating power, lighting and communications systems
- Switchboard installation, upgrades and modifications
- Cable tray, conduit and cable installation works
- Testing, commissioning and fault finding of electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and project documentation
- Installation of critical power and backup power systems
- Data centre electrical fit-outs and infrastructure installations
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Working closely with project managers and site supervisors to meet delivery milestones
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship across all projects

About You:
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Electrical Trade Qualification with a current Electrical Licence
- Experience working on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Previous switchboard, controls or data centre experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and commissioning practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and within a project team environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to project success
