About the role

At Sydney Financial Group, advisers spend their time where it matters: with clients. Clients come to you through a steady flow of new and existing clients from referrals and Google. You lead client conversations and set direction while our paraplanning team builds the advice. Admin is handled by our associate team who run workflows in Xplan. We offer two options: Junior Adviser for those newly qualified or early in their advice career seeking to build real skills fast with mentoring from experienced advisers; or Part time Adviser for experienced advisers wanting flexibility without stepping back from meaningful work.

Key responsibilities

- Meet new and ongoing clients by phone, video and face to face to understand their goals

- Complete fact finds to house standards

- Brief paraplanning team and review the advice they prepare

- Present advice and guide clients through implementation

- Look after ongoing clients through regular reviews

- Work closely with EAs, associates and paraplanners to keep files compliant and moving

About you

- Registration as a relevant provider on the Financial Advisers Register,



meeting the education and exam standards

- Junior: 0–3 years' advice experience. Part-time: 3+ years' advice experience

- A genuine interest in people and the ability to explain complex ideas simply

- Organised, coachable and happy to follow a proven process

- Clean compliance record

- Xplan experience a plus

- Full working rights in Australia

- Open to automation
