Digital Marketing and Growth Manager
SEO, content, social media, campaigns and CRM
RespectX is a tech company with a purpose. We help organisations prevent harmful behaviour by making it safer to speak up and respond earlier.
We are looking for a practical, commercially minded digital marketer who will help RespectX grow its impact. The role builds the growth and marketing engine of the business from scratch; create content, optimise search, and run outbound and inbound campaigns.
Role description
This person will personally create content, manage social media, improve search visibility and build campaigns and CRM follow-up. The role works closely with sales leads and reports directly to the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Get RespectX found. Research buyer searches for misconduct reporting, case management, bullying, sexual harassment and psychosocial harm prevention. Optimise SEO and GEO; improve pages, internal links and technical accessibility; monitor Google and AI search.
- Create useful content. Turn founder expertise, approved research and client stories into articles, case studies, emails, graphics, carousels and short captioned videos. Preserve our voice and substantiate claims.
- Manage social media. Own the LinkedIn calendar, publishing, appropriate engagement and reporting. Recommend additional channels only where they reach our buyers.
- Build campaigns. Connect sector-specific messaging, social content, search advertising, landing pages, calls to action and follow-up. Manage approved budgets and test what works.
- Connect marketing to CRM. Build segmented emails and nurture workflows; connect forms; maintain source tracking and subscription status; test automation and sales handover.
- Support sales. Produce branded one-pagers, presentations and sales materials. Update investor presentations using founder-approved narrative and figures.
- Measure commercial outcomes. Report relevant search visibility, enquiries, qualified meetings and opportunities. Separate paid and organic results and recommend what to improve or stop.
What success means
Success in the role means that RespectX is a well known brand with a bumper pipeline to future sales.
Where you might be working now
You might currently be a Digital Marketing Specialist, Growth Marketer or Digital Marketing Manager in a software company, a growing B2B business or a digital agency.
You could also be an independent marketer looking to bring your skills into one business and help shape its growth.
Your title matters less than your experience. We’re looking for someone who personally builds and delivers the work,
understands how the different channels connect, and can show what they have achieved.
What you will be able to demonstrate
A broad digital marketer with particular strength in search and copy. At least three to five years of relevant experience is a practical guide; demonstrated ability matters more than age, qualifications or a long list of platforms.
You will be able to show us how you have:
- Helped prospective customers find a business through relevant searches, including searches that did not contain its name.
- Planned and delivered campaigns connecting search, content, landing pages, clear calls to action and email follow-up.
- Created strong social media content, including written posts, graphics, carousels and short videos.
- Built CRM campaigns and automated workflows that turn enquiries into timely, relevant sales follow-up.
- Measured results, learned from what worked and changed what didn’t.
We want to understand your personal contribution, the decisions you made and the outcomes you achieved.
Tools and platforms you will be familiar with
You should be confident using a practical combination of:
- Search and analytics: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and an SEO platform such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Content and design: Canva, PowerPoint and a video editing tool such as Descript or equivalent.
- Social media: LinkedIn publishing and campaign tools, with experience using scheduling platforms where useful.
- Websites: A content management system such as WordPress or Webflow, including building and improving landing pages.
- CRM and email: Pipedrive or an equivalent CRM, including segmentation, email campaigns and automation.
- AI and integrations: ChatGPT, Claude or equivalent tools, and platforms such as Zapier or Make where needed.
You don’t need to know every platform listed. You do need to demonstrate depth in the tools you use, sound judgment about their outputs and the ability to learn quickly.
About you
You enjoy working in a growing, fast-moving technology startup, where priorities evolve and you can see the difference your work makes. You are comfortable taking ownership, making practical decisions and getting things done,
while knowing when to ask questions or bring others in.
You are intensely curious about technology. You actively explore new tools as they emerge, learn how to use them and test where they can improve your work. You are an early adopter who can distinguish a useful development from a distraction.
Our purpose matters to you: a safer, more respectful world for everyone, starting with the places where we work and study. You care about making complex or sensitive subjects clear, accessible and human.
You bring energy, optimism, pragmatism, resilience and care to work every day—in how you approach a challenge, support your colleagues and work with our customers. You welcome feedback, share what you learn and follow through on your commitments.
Location and working arrangements
This role is Melbourne based.
We are open to full-time or part-time work, flexible working arrangements and job-share proposals. Tell us the arrangement you are seeking and how you would make it work.
We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
How to apply
Your application must include:
1. A cover letter explaining why RespectX’s purpose interests you, what you would bring to this role and your preferred working arrangement.
2. Your CV, outlining your relevant experience.
3. At least one example of a digital marketing campaign with search optimisation, you personally led from planning through to delivery and measurement. This may involve SEO, paid search or a combination of both.
4. Your plan for the first 30/60/90 days in the role.
For your campaign example, please explain:
- The audience, business objective and starting position.
- Your personal role and what others contributed.
- How search connected to the content, landing page, enquiry process and follow-up.
- The tools used, timeframe and advertising budget, where applicable.
- The outcomes: for example, relevant search visibility, website visits, enquiries, qualified meetings, sales opportunities or customers.
- What you learned and what you would do differently.
Include links, screenshots or a short case study where possible. Confidential examples can be anonymised. We are interested in your thinking and contribution as well as the final result.
Applications that do not contain these 4 documents will not be considered.
Please:
- email your application to: ••••@respectx.com.
- put “Application: DM & GM” in the subject line.
- attach all 4 documents separately. Emails without 4 separate documents will not be considered.
Applications close: 6 November 2026
