Building trust, creating consistency and making every moment of support meaningful.

Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker who understands the importance of trust, consistency and connection when supporting people with complex needs?

Sunrise2Sunrise is seeking skilled, compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join a dedicated respite support team in Cranbourne, providing individualised support to a regular participant with complex and intersecting support needs, including behaviours of concern.

We are establishing a consistent core team of workers who recognise that quality respite support is about much more than providing care. It is about building meaningful relationships, understanding individual needs and preferences, and creating a safe, welcoming and predictable environment where participants feel comfortable, respected and empowered.

Cranbourne – Complex Respite Supports

As part of our dedicated respite team, you will provide consistent, person-centred support tailored to the participant's individual needs, routines and goals.

We are particularly interested in experienced workers who can confidently implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans, apply trauma-informed approaches and recognise early indicators of distress, responding with patience, professionalism and effective de-escalation strategies.

Continuity of care is central to this opportunity. We are looking for team members who value consistency, communicate effectively and work collaboratively to establish trusting relationships and provide a positive respite experience.

Beyond meeting immediate support needs, you will encourage independence, promote choice and control, and create opportunities for meaningful engagement, social connection and community participation.

We're looking for workers who bring emotional resilience, sound judgement, accountability and a genuine commitment to understanding the person behind the support needs.

If you thrive in an environment where relationships matter, consistency makes a difference and every interaction is an opportunity to positively influence someone's life, we'd love to hear from you.
