Westgold is seeking experienced Emergency Services Officers to join our team on an 8/6 FIFO roster, supporting our operations across the Southern Goldfields and Murchison regions of Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for emergency response professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about protecting people, responding to critical incidents and maintaining emergency preparedness across operational mining sites.

About the Role

As an Emergency Services Officer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our people safe by delivering emergency response, rescue and medical services across site operations. Working closely with Health & Safety teams, you'll ensure emergency readiness is maintained while supporting a robust safety culture throughout the business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Responding to emergency, rescue and medical incidents
- Providing pre-hospital emergency medical care
- Maintaining emergency response equipment and facilities
- Conducting emergency response training and mock exercises
- Supporting site emergency preparedness and compliance activities
- Completing drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Participating in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
- Promoting a proactive safety culture across all operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in emergency response within mining, resources or heavy industry
- Strong medical response and incident management capability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations




- A genuine commitment to health, safety and wellbeing

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
- Relevant emergency medical qualifications
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid qualifications
- Drug and alcohol testing competency (highly regarded)
- Previous mining industry experience (highly regarded)
