Are you a strategic, commercially minded leader passionate about delivering exceptional retirement living services? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of retirement villages, drive operational excellence and enhance the experience of residents across the community. We are seeking an experienced Executive Manager – Retirement Living to provide strategic direction, strong leadership and commercial oversight, ensuring high-quality services, sound financial performance and regulatory compliance.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you will have overall responsibility for the performance, sustainability and future direction of the retirement living portfolio. You will lead the team, oversee financial and operational performance, manage compliance and risk, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future growth.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic plans that support residents' needs and long-term organisational objectives

- Lead and develop the Retirement Living team, setting clear expectations and ensuring workforce capability

- Ensure compliance with the Retirement Villages Act 1992 (WA), relevant regulations and organisational policies

- Oversee service quality, resident feedback and the effective resolution of complex complaints

- Oversee budgets, resident fees, expenditure, financial reporting and capital funding

- Prioritise maintenance, refurbishments and capital works to maintain safe,



attractive villages

- Monitor demand, support marketing and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and redevelopment

- Build strong relationships with residents, staff, resident committees and external stakeholders

- Drive service improvements, monitor operational performance and provide strategic reporting to the CEO

About you

- Proven senior leadership experience managing multi-site operations, ideally in retirement living, aged care or community services

- Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen and financial management skills

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability and deliver results

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance and risk management

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a resident-focused approach

- A track record of driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and sustainable growth
