- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing including invoice management and payment runs
- Accounts Receivable including invoicing, payment allocation and debtor follow-up
- Bank reconciliations and maintenance of accurate financial records
- Support month-end activities including journals and reconciliations
- Maintain debtor and creditor ledgers and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with financial reporting and respond to internal finance queries
- Help reconcile Support at Home and subsidy claims
What You’ll Bring
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have solid payroll experience, plus experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- Have hands-on experience with accounting and payroll systems (e.g. Xero or similar)
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Hold a Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or have equivalent experience
- Hold valid Australian working rights
- Can provide a satisfactory National Police Check
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience processing payroll using Employment Hero
- Experience working within a not-for-profit organisation
- An understanding of Commonwealth aged care in the home (Support at Home, CHSP) and associated finance and acquittal requirements.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Access to not-for-profit salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax free, plus up to $2,650 for meal entertainment, to increase take-home pay.
- Hybrid working after your first 3 months (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
- Meaningful work with a respected community organisation that makes a real difference
- Sponsored learning and development (internal and external)
- Room to grow your career in a growing organisation
