We’re looking for a passionate Horticulturist to join our Passive Reserves Team and help care for some of our community's most valued green spaces.

About the Role

Every day brings something different. From maintaining parks and reserves to mentoring others and responding to community needs, you'll play a key role in ensuring our open spaces remain safe, attractive and enjoyable for everyone.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Lead and participate in the maintenance of parks, gardens and passive reserves
- Apply your horticultural expertise to complex maintenance activities
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members
- Operate a variety of plant, equipment and vehicles
- Contribute to community safety during extreme weather events
- Work across diverse landscapes while helping protect our natural and heritage environments
- Build positive relationships with community members and stakeholder
- Take ownership of customer requests and deliver practical solutions

About You





You're a proactive and customer-focused individual who leads by example and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for the community. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, and use sound judgement, initiative and innovative thinking to solve problems and achieve results.

You embrace continuous learning, adapt confidently to recent technologies and ways of working, and demonstrate the flexibility, curiosity and professionalism needed to contribute to a positive workplace culture.

You'll bring:

- Certificate III or higher in Horticulture
- Current C Class and MR Driver's Licence
- 3 years or more experience in horticultural maintenance, irrigation systems and machinery operation

This position is classified at Grade 5-6 with a current salary range of $90,320 - $91,459 per annum plus superannuation.
