This full time position, working 76 hours across a 9-day fortnight will encompass all things finance making it the perfect opportunity for someone to take their career to the next level. While you are involved in tasks throughout our team, some of your key focuses will be:
- Overseeing data integrity and coordination of financial transactions;
- Ensuring the compliance of the Shire's tax obligations;
- Management of the Shire's insurance portfolio;
- Coordinate the Shires's investments;
- Assistance with the preparation of financial and management reporting;
- Assist with asset management and payroll.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Fantastic customer service skills and an interest in helping other's out;
- Time management and organisation skills;

- A wizard with excel and accounting software;
- Experience within local government or a similar position.
