About the Role

Reporting to the Drill & Blast Superintendent, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Driller to join our Drill & Blast team. You will lead by example while safely operating production drills, mentoring crew members, and ensuring drilling activities are completed to plan, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain production drill rigs safely and efficiently
- Ensure drill patterns meet design and quality requirements
- Conduct inspections, servicing, and basic maintenance
- Troubleshoot drilling issues and implement solutions
- Mentor and support developing drillers
- Complete drill logs, pre-starts, and production reporting
- Promote strong safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements





- Extensive hard rock production mining experience
- Proven experience operating Sandvik DPi1500 / DP1500 Top Hammer drills
- Solid knowledge of drill pattern compliance and quality control
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
- WA Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Schedule 26 (desirable)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
