Quattro Project Engineering, based in Western Australia, has over 10 years of experience delivering engineering and construction solutions to the Resources and Civil sectors. Partnering with diverse clients, Quattro manages projects from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring reliable outcomes through disciplined engineering.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join our Pinjarra Workshop on a permanent, full-time basis, working 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills while working alongside a highly experienced team, and includes occasional site travel as required.
Duties include but not limited to;
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and policies.
- Investigate incidents and maintain equipment integrity.
- Follow lockout procedures before maintenance.
- Control costs through efficient expenditure and waste management.
- Maintain underground equipment per OEM and company standards.
- Follow preventative and scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Ensure timely procurement of required spares.
- Provide mechanical training for maintenance personnel.
- Overhaul, maintain, and repair fixed and mobile plant equipment.
- Maintain workshop, storage areas, and cleanliness of equipment.
- Site travel as required providing maintenance support for Quattro products.
- Other duties as requested by the Workshop Manager
THE PERSON
- Trade qualified ? Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
- MR and HR license is highly desirable
- Previous experience as an Underground Mechanical Fitter is desirable
- Have a good understanding of general OHS
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Take charge of planned and preventative maintenance with a very proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills.
