Overview

Profectus is seeking experienced ICT professionals across multiple roles to sustain, remediate and enhance a secure web application within an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers application sustainment and feature enhancement, data migration and integration, cyber security uplift and knowledge transfer to government staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, remediate and enhance an Angular-based enterprise web application

- Deliver full-stack development, application integration and new features

- Establish a reliable, secure and supportable application baseline

- Design and implement data integration services and data pipelines

- Migrate data assets to an enterprise data platform and remediate data quality issues

- Remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings and identified vulnerabilities

- Implement secure software development practices and DevSecOps maturity uplift

- Elicit and document business and technical requirements, data mappings and acceptance criteria

- Develop automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines

- Lead agile delivery and report progress, risks and issues across the program

- Support security compliance, assurance and accreditation activities

- Transfer knowledge to government staff





Required Experience
- Experience in one of the roles listed above on enterprise software or data programs

- Experience working on Angular-based enterprise web applications, at a level suited to your role

- Experience working in agile delivery teams

- Experience with secure software development, data migration or test automation, relevant to your role

- Experience engaging stakeholders and documenting your work

- Experience delivering ICT work within Defence or another Australian Government agency

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the Defence Secret environment or other classified environments

- Experience with the Defence One Defence Data platform or other enterprise data platforms

- Experience with SBOM tools and vulnerability remediation

- Experience supporting application accreditation against the Information Security Manual (ISM)

- Relevant certifications such as PSM, CSM, CBAP, CCBA or ISTQB

Security Clearance Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen

- Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)

- Data Engineer roles require a current AGSVA NV2 Security Clearance (minimum)
