- Provide emotional support and encouragement while promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Support community access, social activities, and daily routines.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report incidents or concerns in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with Case Managers, Team Leaders, and other professionals to provide safe and consistent support.
What we're looking for

- Previous experience in mental health, psychosocial disability, or complex disability support.
- Confidence and experience supporting participants who may display aggressive or challenging behaviours.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and use appropriate de-escalation techniques.

- A compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental approach to person-centred care.
- A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
- Desirable but not essential: Ability to communicate using Australian Sign Language (Auslan).
What we offer
- Competitive casual hourly rates.
- Versatile shifts to suit your availability.
- Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
- A supportive team environment with guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Program.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of participants with complex support needs.
