Job Title: Solution Architect (AVEVA PI System)

Contract: Initial 12-month contract

Rate: Competitive daily rate, aligned with experience

Our client is a Queensland Government-owned organisation in the utilities sector, making a meaningful impact on communities and the environment. Through customer-focused service and operational excellence, it plays a critical role in supporting sustainable growth across the region. They are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect (AVEVA PI System) to start asap.

Background

Our client is undertaking the implementation of the AVEVA PI System to establish a modern operational data platform that enables the collection, management, visualisation, and analysis of real-time operational data across water and wastewater assets. The solution will provide a scalable foundation for operational monitoring, performance reporting, event management, compliance reporting, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

- Extensive experience designing and implementing AVEVA PI System solutions.
- Solid understanding of PI Asset Framework (AF), Analyses, Event Frames, and PI Vision.
- Experience integrating PI System with enterprise data platforms and cloud services.
- Knowledge of OT, SCADA, telemetry, and industrial control system architectures.
- Experience developing architecture standards, integration strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Utility, water, wastewater experience highly regarded

- Proven track record of delivering solutions using the Aveva PI System
- Available immediately.
- Hybrid work model – 2 days remote, 3 days in-office or as required.
