Responsibilities
- Build the platform between digital-twin algorithms and delivery users so model construction can be run, diagnosed, corrected, and completed without developer assistance.
- Own model-quality workflows that surface problems clearly and feed human corrections into machine-learning training and evaluation data.
- Develop scalable frameworks that divide work into standard, measurable units that can be forecast across projects and regions.
- Improve the performance of tooling used throughout the day by global delivery teams, including load times and interaction latency.
- Support rollout and adoption of the platform by internal teams across global regions.
- Collaborate across frontend, backend, systems, algorithms, and machine-learning domains while making appropriate technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- Strong track record designing and shipping complex, production-grade systems.
- Care for end-user experience, particularly for expert users who work extensively in specialized tools.
- Product sense, including understanding users, gathering requirements,
and focusing on outcomes.
- Depth of experience or interest in modern programming languages and technologies such as Java, C++, Dart, TypeScript, WebGL, and Python.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technical areas quickly and deliver ambitious work incrementally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Nice-to-have experience with human-in-the-loop review and QA workflows, task routing, consensus and adjudication, DSLs or expression languages, distributed operational teams, CAD/GIS/IDE-like tools, data visualization, geospatial systems, LiDAR, utilities, energy, or physics-based platforms.
Advantages
- Competitive salary and meaningful ESOP.
- Fully flexible working arrangements with a well-stocked office in Redfern.
- Regular office events.
- Work on a complex, innovative, industry-leading product with tangible real-world impact.
