About The Role

As a Permanent Educator at Journey Dakabin, you’ll help create a safe, inclusive and engaging workplace where children feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to explore, learn and grow.

Working alongside your team,



you’ll use your knowledge and experience to deliver play-based learning experiences that reflect children’s interests, strengths and individual developmental needs.

You’ll Be Involved In

- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences.
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Building warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
- Contributing to educational programs, observations and documentation.
- Creating inclusive environments where every child feels safe and valued.
- Collaborating with your team to reflect on and strengthen educational practice.
- Supporting the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).

About You

You’re a caring and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about early learning and understands the importance of building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

You’ll Bring

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
- A current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, as required.
- An understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standard.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A commitment to child safety, inclusion and quality early learning.
- A willingness to share ideas, reflect on practice and contribute to continuous improvement.
- National Child Safety (Foundation Module) training, or willingness to complete it.
