We are seeking a motivated skilled with event or training experience to join our Education and Public Affairs (EPA) team.

As an APS 4 Communications and Media Officer, you will assist with event management for key EPA projects, including a project to build the competence and confidence of low-resource and at-risk charities. You’ll help to organise a program of events for charities, assisting with logistics (venue, suppliers, speakers) and promotion and evaluation.

You will support the event lead to design and deliver tailored events that meet the training needs of the charity audience.

You will have knowledge of the charity and Not-For-Profit sectors and support the program by attending events to assist with logistics and charity inquiries.

You will be involved in a range of communications and education activities across the team.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Melbourne CBD. If you are found suitable but do not receive a job offer, we’ll add you to a list of people we can contact about similar jobs that become available. This is called a merit pool.

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse people and people with disability to apply.
