Summary:

We are looking for commercial finance business partners to support a large-scale ASX 100 enterprise company employed through a top-tier consulting firm client.

What the role involves:

- Partnering commercial, category and operational stakeholders to drive financial performance
- Forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting
- Commercial analysis supporting pricing,



trade spend, margin and investment decisions
- Category and store or site P&L; performance
- Identifying risks and opportunities and challenging assumptions
- Improving reporting quality and forecast accuracy
- Depending on level, coaching junior team members and lifting commercial capability

Experience required:

- Strong retail industry experience is essential and the primary requirement (grocery, liquor, department, specialty or eCommerce)
- Commercial finance, FP&A; or finance business partnering background
- P&L;, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting capability, scaled to level
- Commercial acumen around category and store performance, pricing, trade spend, promotions and margin
- Comfortable partnering sales, category, merchandise and operations teams
- Strong Excel and systems capability (ERP, planning and reporting tools)
- Stakeholder management and explicit communication
- CA or CPA preferred
- 3-8 years of relevant experience
