We're partnering with an established technology business that supports organisations with their IT environments, technical challenges and longer-term technology requirements. Working across a range of customers and technologies, the business takes a practical, solutions-focused approach to helping organisations get the most from their IT systems. They're now looking for an experienced Technical Solutions Consultant – Presales to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer interaction, understanding business challenges and recommending solutions that make a genuine difference. You'll work with a team-oriented team of technical and commercial professionals, contributing your expertise to a range of customer projects and opportunities.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As the Technical Solutions Consultant – Presales, you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to understand business challenges,



assess technical requirements and develop suitable technology solutions. You'll be involved in early-stage technical conversations, reviewing existing IT environments and helping customers identify opportunities to improve performance, security and efficiency. Using your knowledge of cloud platforms, Microsoft technologies, infrastructure and networking, you'll provide technical recommendations and support the development of solutions that meet both operational and commercial requirements. You'll also contribute to customer meetings, technical presentations and the preparation of solution documentation, working alongside colleagues to ensure recommendations are achievable and aligned with customer expectations. Beyond individual opportunities, you'll help identify emerging technology needs, share your technical knowledge and contribute to improving the way solutions are developed and delivered.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE...

- 3+ years of experience in a technical consulting, presales, infrastructure engineering or solutions-focused role, ideally within an MSP, technology consultancy or IT services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows environments and associated infrastructure technologies.
- A broad understanding of networking, cloud services, identity management,



data protection and IT security principles.
- Experience assessing technical requirements and recommending solutions that address customer or business needs.
- Confidence discussing technology with different stakeholders, from technical specialists through to business decision-makers.
- An understanding of IT infrastructure design, system integrations and technology implementation considerations.
- Experience contributing to technical documentation, solution recommendations, presentations or customer proposals.
- Ability to balance technical feasibility, customer expectations and commercial considerations when recommending solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to approach technical challenges from a broader business perspective.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous, alongside a willingness to continue learning and developing your technical expertise.
