North Star Partners is partnering with an established financial services group to appoint an AI Transformation Lead, helping turn AI and intelligent automation opportunities into practical solutions used across the business.

Working within the technology team you will bring business stakeholders, technology specialists and delivery partners together to take initiatives from agreed use case through to implementation and adoption. Your work will improve broker productivity, customer experience and operational performance, with clear measures of success. This role suits people with a technical background and understanding coupled with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

- Own the delivery of AI and automation initiatives, managing planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, release and handover.
- Work with business teams to assess opportunities, clarify expected perks and prioritise use cases.
- Coordinate internal specialists and external vendors, resolve blockers and keep delivery moving.
- Partner with Change and business teams on communications, training and readiness, ensuring solutions become part of everyday work.
- Track adoption and benefits, including productivity gains, efficiency, service improvement and risk reduction.
- Ensure delivery meets privacy, security, governance and regulatory requirements.
- Establish consistent delivery practices, capturing lessons and improving how future initiatives are delivered.

Key skills

- Experience delivering technology, AI,



automation, data or digital projects within a structured delivery environment.
- Strong project delivery capability across planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, testing and implementation.
- Practical understanding of AI, automation, data and cloud technologies, with the confidence to work closely with technical specialists.
- Experience supporting technology adoption and measuring business outcomes after implementation.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into delivery plans and explain progress, risks and decisions.
- Strong organisation and follow-through, including managing vendors and several concurrent activities.
- An understanding of governance, privacy, security and compliance. Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated industry would be valuable.
