Project Coordinator – Prefabrication

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 + Super

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Coordinator – Prefabrication to join a growing project delivery team based in St Marys.

This is a junior project management role suited to someone with experience in construction, prefabrication or manufacturing who is looking to take ownership of project coordination across factory-based production and in office installation.

Working across prefabricated modules and mechanical services components, you will coordinate multiple external steel fabricators, mechanical suppliers, internal workshop personnel and site teams to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in coordinating the end-to-end prefabrication process, from planning and manufacturing through to delivery and installation across various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- As a Project Coordinator you will coordinate the planning, manufacture, assembly, delivery and installation of prefabricated modules and mechanical services components.
- This Project Coordinator will liaise with external steel fabricators, mechanical suppliers, workshop personnel and site teams to keep project activities on track.
- The Project Coordinator will monitor project schedules, production progress, material availability and delivery timelines.




- As the Project Coordinator you'll support quality assurance processes, ensuring prefabricated components meet project specifications and quality requirements.
- Track project milestones, outstanding actions, fabrication progress and potential delays.
- Coordinate documentation, drawings, inspections and quality records throughout the prefabrication process.
- Assist with resolving manufacturing, fabrication and site coordination issues to minimise delays and maintain project delivery.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure prefabricated modules are ready for installation when required.
- Support continuous improvement across factory coordination, production planning and project delivery processes.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Experience in a construction, prefabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to mechanical services, structural steel or related fabrication projects will be highly regarded.
- The ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, fabricators, workshop personnel and site teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- The ability to track project progress and follow up on outstanding actions to ensure timely delivery.
