The Test Engineer responsibilities include:

Test Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable test automation framework tailored for ETL pipelines in cloud data warehouse environments. This framework would be used across different tribes/squads within the Data office space.

Data Warehouse Testing: Perform in depth testing of cloud based data warehouses (e.g., Azure Databricks, Google Big Query) to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

ETL Pipeline Testing: Develop and execute test plans for ETL processes, ensuring data transformations and migrations meet business requirements and quality standards.

Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated and manual tests, document results, report issues, and track defects through resolution.





Minimum of 5 years of experience in test engineering with a solid focus on data warehouse testing and test automation

Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks

Hands on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Azure Databricks, Google BigQuery.

Hands on experience in PySpark

Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts.

Experience with SQL for data validation and manipulation.

Experience of working with CICD Tools such as Jenkins, Github, ADO

Knowledge in reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI

Knowledge of Agile methodology

Experience in Telco industry would be an advantage
