We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join at Principal level, working closely with the Partner & Practice Lead to build and deliver mandates across Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Capital Markets, Global Markets, Private Capital and Risk Management.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded search professional to inherit an established market presence while building a personal franchise within one of the most active segments of financial service.

The Opportunity

You will work with leading domestic and international banks, investment banks, private capital managers and alternative asset managers advising clients on the identification and attraction of exceptional talent.

You will be empowered to originate business, develop long-term client partnerships and lead search assignments from mandate through to completion, supported by an experienced research and operations team, proprietary market intelligence and more than 25 years of specialist financial services coverage.

This offers a clear pathway to becoming a recognised market leader within their chosen coverage sector.

Key Deliverables

Client Development & Relationship Management

- Build and deepen relationships with senior decision makers across financial services
- Develop new business opportunities whilst expanding existing client partnerships
- Act as a trusted adviser, providing market intelligence, talent insights and competitor commentary

Search Execution

- Lead executive search assignments from inception to successful completion
- Manage all stages of the search process including briefing, research, candidate engagement, assessment, presentation and offer negotiation




- Partner with colleagues to deliver exceptional client and candidate outcomes

Market Intelligence

- Develop deep expertise across Banking, Debt & Capital Markets
- Produce high-quality market mapping, benchmarking and talent intelligence
- Maintain an active network of leading industry professionals across Australia and Asia-Pacific

Candidate Engagement

- Identify, assess and engage high-calibre executives and future leaders
- Conduct detailed competency and career assessments
- Deliver thoughtful, consultative candidate management throughout the search process

What We're Looking For

- An experienced financial services recruiter with 5-10 years of experience
- A banking, capital markets, private capital or real asset recruitment specialist
- A high-performing contingent, retained or executive search consultant seeking a more strategic platform
- A financial services professional looking to transition into executive search
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building capability
- Genuine curiosity and passion for financial markets
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
