Your new role

An chance has arisen for an Associate to join a growing Workers Compensation practice in Sydney. Working closely with experienced personal injury and compensation lawyers, you will manage a range of workers compensation matters and assist clients throughout the claims process from initial advice through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing workers compensation claims and disputes
- Advising clients regarding their rights and entitlements
- Preparing claims, submissions, correspondence and other legal documentation




- Conducting legal research and assisting with litigation strategy
- Appearing in negotiations, conciliations and hearings
- Liaising with insurers, medical experts and other stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing files and progressing matters efficiently

What you'll need to succeed

- 2+ years' post-admission experience in Workers Compensation, Personal Injury or Insurance Litigation
- Strong file management skills
- Experience drafting legal documentation and submissions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities
- A client-focused and empathetic approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
