About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an integral role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all aspects of the clinic.





Your responsibilities will include:

- Pre- and post-operative patient care
- Surgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery
- Animal pathology and diagnostic testing
- Hospital nursing and inpatient care
- Emergency and critical care nursing support
- Performing minor procedures within your scope of practice
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinic
- Supporting reception and client services when required
- Delivering exceptional care and customer service to clients and patients

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary nursing, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and values being part of a close-knit team.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary Nurse
- Confidence assisting with surgery, anaesthesia, and patient recovery
- Strong animal handling and clinical nursing skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- The ability to remain calm, efficient, and adaptable in a busy clinic environment
- Outstanding communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- A positive attitude and willingness to support teammates wherever needed
- Experience with RX Works is advantageous but not essential
