At Fantastic Furniture, we help customers create homes they love. We're looking for an Assistant Manager to support our Launceston team and help keep the store running smoothly. Working alongside the Retail Business Leader, you'll lead by example, coach your team and ensure customers receive friendly, practical service. You'll be involved across the store, from driving sales on the showroom floor to supporting stock and warehouse operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the daily running of the store and lead in the Retail Business Leader's absence.
- Coach and motivate the team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Help customers find furniture that suits their homes and budgets.
- Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
- Support stock accuracy, deliveries and safe warehouse practices.
- Resolve customer enquiries and help the team manage busy trading periods.
- Build a positive team environment where safety comes first.
What You'll Bring
- Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in retail.
- A practical approach and willingness to work across sales and warehouse activities.
- Confidence coaching people and supporting team performance.
- Robust communication, organisation and customer service skills.
- A focus on sales results and creating a great customer experience.
- Flexibility to work across the retail roster, including weekends.
