Kalgoorlie - Boulder

Emyjor Services is seeking a capable and organised HR & Mobilisation Administrator to join our Kalgoorlie team.

We are an established Western Australian business providing plumbing, gas fitting, carpentry and civil services across the Goldfields and Perth.

This position supports the day-to-day administration of our workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, site mobilisation, training and employee compliance.

Working closely with our HR Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring employees are appropriately onboarded, mobilisation requirements are completed on time and employee records remain accurate and up to date.

The role involves managing multiple priorities, communicating with employees and external stakeholders, and following tasks through to completion.

While previous HR or mining experience would be beneficial, we are equally interested in applicants with strong administrative experience and transferable skills. Training will be provided in our systems and industry-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with recruitment activities, candidate communication and pre-employment processes.

- Coordinate employee onboarding, employment contracts and associated documentation.

- Arrange and follow up pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol screenings and National Police Clearances.

- Coordinate site mobilisation requirements, including inductions, training and client access approvals.

- Monitor employee qualifications, licences, competencies and compliance expiries.

- Maintain accurate employee records, databases, registers and personnel files.

- Liaise with employees, supervisors, clients and external providers to ensure requirements are completed within required timeframes.

- Assist with employee accommodation arrangements and workforce movements.

- Provide general HR administrative support, including employee enquiries and offboarding.

- Monitor outstanding actions, maintain records of progress and follow up requirements through to completion.

- Assist with reviewing and improving administrative processes and record-keeping practices.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and capable of managing their responsibilities with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- Initiative and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.

- A proactive approach to identifying outstanding requirements and following tasks through to completion.

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Confidence communicating with employees, management, clients and external service providers.

- Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems.

- Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when priorities change.

- Professionalism, discretion and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality when handling employee information.

- A willingness to learn and contribute to the broader HR and administration function.

Previous experience in administration, HR, recruitment, workforce mobilisation, scheduling, logistics or compliance will be highly regarded.

Formal HR qualifications and previous mining or mobilisation experience are not essential, we are looking for someone with the right administrative capabilities, initiative and willingness to learn.

What We Offer

- Permanent, full-time employment with an established, locally owned and operated business.

- Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience.

- Ongoing training, professional development and opportunities for career progression.

- Access to corporate discounts with participating local gyms and fitness facilities.

- Confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supporting employee wellbeing.

- Employee recognition initiatives, team-building activities and social events.

- A family-oriented workplace with approachable management and a supportive team environment.

- The opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and industries.

- Be part of a business that actively supports local sporting clubs, community organisations and events.

How to Apply

If you have strong administrative skills, take ownership of your work and are looking for a role where you can develop your experience across HR and workforce mobilisation, we encourage you to apply.

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position through SEEK.

In your cover letter, please also identify one of the key responsibilities listed in this advertisement that you believe would be particularly important to stay on top of and briefly explain why.
