HSS Recruitment is partnering with a growing, family-owned crane and rigging contractor seeking a Project Manager to join its Perth-based team.

The role

You’ll manage multiple projects from tender award through to completion, working closely with clients, site teams, crane crews, riggers and boilermakers/welders.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing project schedules, budgets and resource plans

- Coordinating crews, equipment, subcontractors and suppliers

- Working with site teams to plan lifting, installation and construction activities

- Managing costs, variations, forecasts and progress reporting





- Maintaining strong client relationships and resolving issues as they arise

- Maintaining safety and quality standards throughout delivery

- Supporting tenders, procurement and project mobilisation

About you

You’ll bring practical construction knowledge, commercial awareness and the confidence to take ownership of project delivery. You’ll also value teamwork and be willing to support the people around you.

We’re looking for:

- Project management experience in cranes and rigging, structural steel erection, SMP, mechanical installation or related construction projects

- Experience coordinating site crews, subcontractors and equipment

- Sound knowledge of project budgets, scheduling and variations

- Solid communication and client management skills

- A practical approach to solving problems and a commitment to safe work practices

A relevant trade, engineering or project management qualification will be highly regarded.

Experienced Project Engineers or Construction Supervisors with budget, planning and client management responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
