ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking motivated Theatre Orderlies to join our team on a casual basis. This role plays a vital part in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations in our perioperative services, ensuring patients are safely transported and clinical areas are maintained to a high standard.

Working closely with nursing and medical staff, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Safely transport patients between Wards, Day Surgery Unit, Holding Bay, PACU and Operating Theatres.

- Assist with patient lifting and transfer in line with manual handling guidelines.

- Prepare beds and trolleys, ensuring readiness for procedures.

- Assist with equipment collection, cleaning and distribution.

- Maintain patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
