About the Opportunity

Faircloth & Reynolds is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our HVAC installation team based in Coffs Harbour.

Working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial HVAC projects, you’ll install electrical power and control systems alongside experienced refrigeration mechanics, engineers and other trades.

About You

You’re a motivated, organised electrician who takes pride in your workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and can manage competing priorities while meeting project deadlines. You communicate effectively, solve problems on site and are keen to learn and develop new skills.

Experience and Technical Skills

Experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations is essential, ideally within HVAC or mechanical services. This includes:

- Installing cable tray, cable ladder, catenary wire, conduit and other cable support systems.

- Set-out, rough-in, pulling, dressing, glanding and terminating power and control cabling.

- Wiring HVAC plant and associated equipment, including isolators, motors, fans and pumps.

- Installing BMS field wiring, sensors, actuators and control cabling.

- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, floor plans and cable schedules.

- Completing electrical testing, verification and relevant compliance documentation, including CCEWs.

- Coordinating installation works with other trades and working to project specifications, safety requirements and construction schedules.

Experience with commercial air conditioning and ventilation plant, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers,



mechanical services switchboards, motor control equipment and variable speed drives (VSDs) would be advantageous.

BMS installation, HVAC control circuits and experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects are also highly regarded but not essential.

Licences and Qualifications

- NSW electrical licence.

- Current driver's licence.

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Current LVR/CPR qualifications.

- EWP and Working at Heights qualifications

About the Position

This is an installation-focused role delivering safe, high-quality electrical installations within project timeframes.

You’ll install HVAC power and control cabling, connect plant and associated equipment, install BMS sensors and control wiring, and work with mechanical services switchboards across commercial and industrial projects.

The role is based in Coffs Harbour and involves travel throughout NSW and interstate. Night works may be required at times to meet project requirements.
