The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Senior ED Doctor to provide overnight Emergency Department cover across Nepean Blue Mountains.
This role suits an experienced Emergency Medicine doctor wanting a regional and metro-adjacent NSW base with clear overnight structure.
Overnight shifts, at $300 per hour.
Clinical Environment
• Overnight in-charge role: lead ED cover with junior doctor support
• Broad acute exposure: manage ED patients, ward MET calls and critical presentations
• Senior escalation pathways: access anaesthetic, retrieval and specialist support when required
• Paediatric and neonatal exposure: support acute, paediatric and critical care presentations
• Supportive hospital environment with strong clinical exposure
Requirements
• Current AHPRA General Registration
• Minimum PGY5 experience
• Minimum 6 months recent Emergency Department experience
• Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support skills
• Paediatric Life Support and neonatal resuscitation skills
• Solid communication and teamwork skills

Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
