Bakers Delight is coming to Chelsea Heights, and we're looking for experienced, talented and hardworking Bakers to join our brand-new team!
With multiple positions available, this is an exciting opportunity for experienced baking professionals to join a new bakery from day one and play an significant role in establishing a successful, high-performing production team.
We're looking for Bakers who take pride in producing quality products, work well in a team and have the skills and experience to contribute from the outset.
About the role
At Bakers Delight, our Bakers are responsible for:
- Preparing, mixing, moulding and baking our range of freshly baked products
- Dough making and oven work
- Producing consistently high-quality products to Bakers Delight standards
- Following production schedules and meeting daily production targets
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and WHS
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and stocktakes
- Managing wastage and maintaining efficient production practices
- Supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive team environment
What we're looking for
The ideal candidates will possess:
- Proven experience working as a Baker in a commercial bakery
- Formal baking qualifications (highly regarded)
- Previous Bakers Delight experience (a significant advantage)
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and a rotating roster, including weekends
- Reliable transport
We're particularly interested in experienced Bakers who can work confidently and independently, maintain high production standards and contribute positively to the team.
