About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a collaborative IT team in Adelaide. This role is primarily focused on maintaining, administering and supporting IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environments and endpoint management systems, while also providing technical assistance to internal users. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Windows Autopilot, along with the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. The position involves approximately 70% infrastructure maintenance and administration and 30% internal user support.

Key responsibilities

- Administer, maintain and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online and related services.

- Manage Microsoft Intune and Entra ID environments, ensuring effective device management, identity administration and security compliance.

- Configure, deploy and maintain Windows devices using Windows Autopilot (Legacy and v2).

- Manage user accounts, permissions, device enrolment, onboarding and offboarding processes.

- Implement and maintain Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and identity security controls.

- Support Windows and macOS endpoints, including device configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Manage application packaging, software deployment,



system updates and patch management using tools such as Patch My PC, Intune and SCCM.

- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, network connectivity and system performance.

- Support hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy and related services.

- Identify and resolve technical issues, implementing preventative measures to improve system stability and security.

About you

- Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure administration, systems engineering or a similar technical role.

- Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.

- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID and endpoint management.

- Practical experience deploying and configuring Windows devices using Windows Autopilot, including Legacy and v2 deployment methods.

- Experience managing Conditional Access policies, MFA, user accounts and access permissions.

- Robust knowledge of Windows operating systems and experience supporting macOS devices.

- Experience with application deployment, software updates and patch management, including Patch My PC or similar tools.

- Experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Server environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, device and system-related issues.

- Experience working across hybrid cloud and on-premises IT environments.
