About the Opportunity
An established and growing business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 2-month temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to support core reporting, budgeting and month-end activities while providing valuable financial insights to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage month-end processes, including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyse actual results against budget and forecast.
- Provide financial commentary and insights to support business performance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Support year-end financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Investigate financial variances and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to support financial planning and decision-making.

About You
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant preferred.




- Strong technical accounting skills, including month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.
- Multi site exposure preferred but not essential.

- $60–$70 + Super per hour, depending on experience.
