Customer Service Officer – Full Time

We’re looking for a practical, proactive Customer Service Officer to join our depot team in a full-time role. Please note we have this role currently open at 4 different locations so please ensure you apply for the location that best suits you: Bairnsdale, Morwell, Derrimut and Adelaide.

This isn’t a traditional call center customer service position. Your customers are our drivers and transport operation.

You’ll be the key communication link between our workshop, drivers, yard, and operations teams, making sure information gets to the right people, issues are followed up and everyone knows what’s happening. You’ll also provide day-to-day administration support to the Workshop Manager, helping reduce their time spent behind a computer.

What you’ll do

- Act as a central liaison between the workshop, drivers, yard and operations teams.

- Keep drivers and operational staff informed about vehicle, trailer and equipment availability, repairs and other updates.

- Make proactive outbound calls to drivers and team members to provide updates, gather information and follow up outstanding matters.

- Follow issues through so they don’t get lost between departments.

- Provide administration support, including assisting with workshop paperwork, records, follow-ups and general computer-based tasks.

- Support smooth communication around vehicle defects, repairs, downtime and return-to-service.





- Help identify issues early and escalate them to the appropriate department.

- Provide excellent internal service to the people who keep our transport operation moving.

This role is a little different

You won’t be sitting at a desk taking incoming customer calls all day.

Instead, you’ll be actively communicating with people across the depot - talking with drivers, working with the workshop, liaising with yard and operations staff, making calls, chasing information and taking care of practical administration that keeps the workshop moving.

At its heart, this role is about communication, service, and follow through.
