As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor who takes pride in running organised sites, building strong trade partnerships, and delivering outstanding homes for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, planning ahead, solving problems before they become issues, and leading projects from site start through to handover.

About the Role

As a Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing multiple residential construction projects across Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

Working closely with our construction, estimating and administration team and trusted trade partners, you'll ensure each home is delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standards Candor Homes is known for.

You'll be empowered to make decisions, drive outcomes and take ownership of your projects while being supported by a collaborative and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Site Management

- Supervise multiple residential construction projects from commencement through to handover.

- Coordinate trades, suppliers and inspections to maintain construction programs.

- Plan construction activities to ensure labour, materials and information are available when required.

- Monitor build quality throughout all stages of construction.

- Proactively identify and resolve site issues before they impact program, budget or quality.

- Ensure projects comply with approved plans, specifications, NCC requirements and company standards.

- Maintain accurate site records,



progress updates and quality inspections.

- Ensure all sites remain organised, qualified and well presented.

Trade & Supplier Coordination

- Develop strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

- Manage trade sequencing and site access to maximise productivity.

- Clearly communicate expectations and hold trades accountable for quality and performance.

- Work collaboratively to solve site challenges and maintain project momentum.

- Create a positive site culture built on respect, professionalism and accountability.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all projects comply with WHS requirements and company procedures.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and compliance checks.

- Maintain required site documentation and records.

- Promote a safe, clean and organised working environment.

Client Experience

- Provide professional and proactive communication throughout construction.

- Assist clients through the building process with confidence and care.

- Manage site related enquiries and expectations in a timely and skilled manner.

- Contribute to a positive client experience from site commencement through to handover.

Quality Assurance & Handover

- Maintain a strong focus on workmanship and attention to detail.

- Conduct ongoing quality inspections throughout construction.

- Coordinate defect rectification and practical completion activities.

- Prepare homes to an exceptional standard for client inspections and handover.

- Deliver homes you are proud to put your name on.

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Experience as a Residential Site Supervisor, Building Supervisor or similar role within the NSW residential construction industry.

- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and building sequencing.





- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.

- Strong problem solving and decision making capability.

- Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and residential building requirements.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- Current Drivers Licence.

Highly Regarded

- Trade background, particularly carpentry.

- Experience supervising custom homes, duplexes, and knockdown rebuilds.

- Experience managing complex sites and challenging construction conditions.

- Experience with construction management software and digital quality assurance systems.
