We are currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Boilermakers / Welders to join our growing team at our Neerabup yard in Perth, WA.

Position Overview

As a Boilermaker / Welder at Doolee, you will play a key role in the fabrication, welding, maintenance, and repair of structural steel components and equipment. Based at our Neerabup yard, you will work closely with our workshop team and supervisors to deliver high-quality fabrication and repair work in support of our construction projects and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out structural steel fabrication, welding, repairs, and modifications.

- Perform steel plating, patch repairs, and general metalwork.

- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

- Undertake cutting, gouging, grinding, and preparation of steelwork.

- Repair and replace worn or damaged steel components.

- Fabricate brackets, supports, stiffeners, and other structural components as required.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure work meets project specifications.

- Safely operate workshop tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment.





- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.

- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

- Comply with all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

- Demonstrated experience in structural steel fabrication, welding, and repairs.

- Strong welding and fabrication skills.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Experience working with platework, structural steel, and general fabrication.

- Previous experience in civil construction, mining, or heavy industrial environments is highly desirable.

- Experience with structural steel remediation and repair is advantageous.

- Relevant high-risk work licences or additional trade tickets are advantageous.

- Valid Construction White Card.
