About us
Pegasus Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments, 71 Nudgee Road, Hamilton, is a busy motel close to Brisbane Airport. We look after a steady stream of airport travelers and corporate guests, and our digital self check-in keeps things running smoothly. We’re a small, close-knit team, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable chef or cook to run our in-house dinner service.

The role
This is a one-person dinner operation cooking for our in-house guests. You’ll:

- Take guest orders

- Cook and plate meals

- Deliver food to guests

- Keep the kitchen clean and food-safe

- Help guests with their questions and requests when needed

It can get busy, which keeps you moving and makes the shift fly. Breakfast is covered by our team, but you may occasionally be asked to fill in.

Hours
Dinner shifts, Monday to Friday, approx.



5:00pm–9:00pm. No public holidays.

What you’ll need

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef or cook

- RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues) Ideal not applicable

- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) - MUST HAVE

- Food Safety certificate

- Explicit, confident spoken and written English

- A friendly, guest-focused attitude and a willingness to help guests

- Willingness to pitch in as part of a team

- Ability to work independently and manage a busy service on your own

- Available to start now
