Key responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive general practice services including diagnosis, treatment,
and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Conducting patient consultations, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate investigations
- Managing preventative healthcare and health promotion activities
- Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records for all patients
- Prescribing medications appropriately and reviewing medication regimens
- Referring patients to specialist services when clinically indicated
- Working collaboratively with allied health professionals and practice staff
- Contributing to the quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the practice
- Maintaining career development and staying current with clinical guidelines and best practices
What we're looking for
- Australian medical degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Board of Australia
- Current General Practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or eligibility to obtain fellowship
