About Oaklands

Oaklands Child Care and Kindergarten is a boutique early learning, long day care and kindergarten centre located in East Brisbane. We are wholly owned by Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie).

As a 99-place centre, we provide a peaceful environment for our children and families and offer a variety of outstanding early learning programs. Our employees are part of a tight-knit team that shares collaboratively in the operation of the Centre. Our leadership and culture are open and transparent, and many of our employees have been with us for a long time.

About the role

As an Assistant Educator, you will support the preparation, implementation and evaluation of educational programs designed to help each child thrive.





You will work collaboratively with our educators and teachers in delivering high-quality educational programs and creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for children across a range of age groups.

This expression of interest is for Assistant Educator opportunities that may become available at the start of 2027.

About you

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- Certificate III in Children's Services or Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care

- Current Blue Card for child related employment, or the ability to obtain one

- Valid First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates or willingness to obtain one

- Knowledge of and experience in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

- Demonstrated experience in an early childhood education and care setting

- Current working rights for Australia.
