About the opportunity:
This is a genuine build role. You’ll influence how technology assurance is done, bring work in-house that has historically been outsourced to a service provider, and lift the technical depth of the wider audit team.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll lead technology and cyber audits across areas including:

- You’ll audit cyber and information security, including identity and access management, vulnerability management and incident response.
- Review cloud environments and IT controls, covering IT general controls, resilience and continuity.
- Assess the SaaS technology environment, including how software is developed and released (SDLC and DevOps), change management, multi-tenancy, platform reliability and software supply-chain security.
- Provide hands on expertise to Data analytics and continuous monitoring, using SQL, Python and Power BI.
- Work with AI and emerging technology, both in how audits are delivered and as part of the broader technology risk landscape.

You’ll work closely with technology and business leaders, turning complex technical findings into clear business risks and practical actions.



You’ll also manage specialist co-source providers while progressively transitioning that work in-house, and coach other auditors to build their technical skills.

About you:
You’re a technology audit, information security or IT risk qualified with enough technical depth to get into the detail yourself, not just oversee the work of others. You’ll bring:

- Strong experience leading technology audit or risk engagements.
- A solid IT background, with cyber security depth.
- Confidence navigating complex technology environments and communicating technical risk clearly to senior stakeholders.
- A mindset to build and improve, not just run an existing program.

Advantageous, but not essential:

- Experience in a SaaS or technology organisation.
- Experience auditing AI systems.
- CISA, CISSP or similar certification.
- SQL, Python or Power BI skills.
- ISMS audit experience.
- Experience transitioning co-sourced work in-house.

Salary:
150k-170k + super + equity
