Viva Leisure,Australia's largest independent health club operator, is lookingfor passionate Group Fitness Instructors (Teachers) to join ournewly reopened Club Pilates studio in Hamilton on a casual basis.Hamilton is the final Rebalance studio in our network to completeits transformation into Club Pilates.
The doors have just opened on a fresh, fully refurbished space,and we're looking for instructors who want to help build something:a thriving studio community, a timetable members plan their weekaround, and an experience that keeps people coming back.
Club Pilates is powered by Boutique Fitness Studios (BFS), theofficial Australian and New Zealand master franchisee for thebrand.
Viva Leisure holds a strategic equity stake in BFS, givingour studios direct access to global Club Pilates programming,systems, and brand recognition, backed by the operational muscle ofAustralia's largest independent health club group.
As a Group Fitness Instructor, you'll deliver classes that aresafe, energising, and genuinely enjoyable, guiding members of alllevels through the Club Pilates programming with confidence andcare.
Reporting to the Studio Manager, you'll get to know yourmembers by name, create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, andplay an active role in growing class participation.
You'll be backed by Viva Leisure's experienced management teamand dedicated brand and operations leaders, with the training,tools, and career growth opportunities to make your mark within theworld's largest Pilates community.

SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS;
We are looking for someone with:
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain)
Certificate III in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader (GEL)Certification
Strong knowledge and passion for the fitness industry
Understanding of fitness training methods, exerciseprinciples, and relevant technologies
Skilled in applying first aid procedure
Ability to read, understand, follow, and promote safetyprocedures
Experience in sales and customer service, ideally withinthe fitness or retail sectors




Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with theability to engage and build rapport with diverse members
Compassionate, organised, and capable of guiding members ina safe and friendly environment
Excellent multitasking abilities to manage memberinteractions and class delivery effectively
Commitment to maintaining a clean, protected, and well-equippedfacility
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver high-quality group fitness classes withprofessionalism, including setup, pack down, and safe use ofequipment
Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold high standards ofbehaviour and conduct
Motivate and support members, ensuring correct techniqueand fostering strong member relationships to encourageretention and growth
Collaborate effectively with club staff and the broaderViva Leisure team
Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies,reporting hazards and incidents promptly
Stay current with certifications and adhere to all relevantfitness industry standards and facility procedures
Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries,escalating issues to the Club Leader when necessary
Ensure class coverage by notifying the Club Leader inadvance if unavailable to teach
