We're working with a large Australian financial services organisation looking for an experiencedPrincipal Salesforce Engineerto join an established engineering team.
This is ahands-on technical leadership rolesupporting two funded programs of work, including a significant cyber resilience initiative.
You'll work within a cross-functional squad, remaining close to the technology while providing technical direction, reviewing solutions and coaching other engineers.
The role
Principal Engineer - Salesforce
Hands-on Salesforce engineering and technical leadership
Design and delivery of secure, scalable Salesforce solutions
Technical design, code reviews and engineering guidance
Work acrossSales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
Integration work acrossMuleSoft, REST APIs and connected services
Support security and vulnerability remediation across the Salesforce platform




Work closely with Architecture, Security, Cloud, Data and Delivery teams
Support strong CI/CD and engineering practices
About you
8+ years' Salesforce development experience
At least2 years in a technical leadership capacity
Solid hands-onApex and LWCexperience
Strong Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience
Experience with enterprise integrations and APIs
Good understanding of secure engineering and DevOps practices
Ability to coach engineers while remaining genuinely hands-on
Experience withFinancial Services Cloud, MuleSoft, cyber/security programs, AWS/Azure or broader software engineeringwould be advantageous.
This would suit an establishedPrincipal Engineer, Salesforce Technical Lead or Lead Salesforce Engineerwho can come in quickly and take ownership within a mature enterprise environment.
