The Role
As an Estimator or Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the front-end delivery of projects, working closely with senior leadership, delivery teams, and subcontractors to develop competitive and commercially sound tenders.
Key responsibilities will include:
Reviewing tender documentation and developing bid strategies
Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
Developing and issuing subcontractor tender packages
Assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing to build competitive submissions
Working closely with internal stakeholders to refine pricing and methodology
Supporting bid presentations, clarifications, negotiations, and post-tender handover
Preparing feasibility estimates and early budget pricing where required
Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within commercial construction
Proven experience pricing medium to large-scale building projects
Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end tender submissions for construction projects valued at $25M+
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance competitiveness with project risk
A methodical and detail-focused approach to tendering
Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders
The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in winning quality work
