ABOUT THE ROLE
IV Cannulation as required.
Admission and education of patients and their families.
Post procedure care, recovery and discharge
Liaising with orderly staff for transport of patients post examination/procedure to wards.
Including assisting to set up the room for various scans including lifting and changing equipment
ABOUT YOU
Registered Nurse, Division 2 with medication endorsement to administer oral and IM medication with current Registration with Nurses Board of Victoria,
To be able to work in a high-field magnetic environment.
Solid organisational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
IV Cannulation qualification or preparedness to attend a cannulation course
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong patient centred care approach with an ability to effectively build patient relationships
