Manufacturing and Production Horsley Park, Sydney, Australia Quality Control Analyst $***** per hour inclusive of casual loading Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Horsley Park Location Commencing: ASAP We are currently seeking a motivated Quality Control Analyst to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business.
The position is responsible for raw material and packaging inspections, laboratory testing, product release activities, quality compliance, HACCP participation, GMP/GLP compliance, audit support and continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities: Conduct inspection, sampling, testing and release of incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
Maintain retained and reference samples in a controlled system.
Review supplier Certificates of Analysis and investigate quality issues.
Conduct laboratory testing according to approved methods and document results.
Communicate out-of-specification results and participate in OOS investigations.
Authorise release of finished goods for dispatch where applicable.
Conduct in-process and finished product sampling for microbiological testing.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and comply with GLP.




Assist with customer complaint investigations.
Support internal, external and customer audits.
Participate in HACCP activities and quality system reviews.
Assist with GMP, quality and competency training.
Conduct GMP audits and follow up the corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with WHSE and OH S requirements.
Work collaboratively with Operations, Warehouse, Production, R D and Quality teams.
Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualification in Science or related discipline.
Experience with laboratory testing and raw material quality control (not compulsory).
